Farro is run by one person: Ryan Volpi, in Massachusetts. Using Farro means you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
What Farro is, and is not
Farro tells you which dishes at Boston-area restaurants are vegan or vegetarian. We build that from published menus, and much of the labelling is done automatically, then corrected over time. Treat Farro as a very well informed starting point, not as a guarantee. Menus change, kitchens substitute ingredients, and our labels are sometimes wrong.
If a mistake would harm you, confirm with the restaurant before you order. Farro is not allergen information and it is not medical or dietary advice. If you have an allergy or a medical condition, ask the restaurant directly, every time.
Paying for Farro
Farro costs $15. You pay it once, and it gives you one year of access starting the day you pay. Nothing renews. This is a single payment, not a subscription, so there is no subscription to cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe, so your card details go to them and never reach us. If Farro is not what you hoped, email us and we will refund you.
Using Farro reasonably
Please do not:
- Scrape, bulk download, or systematically copy the catalog.
- Resell or redistribute our data as your own.
- Share your account so several people use one membership.
- Attack the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.
Availability and liability
Farro is run by one person. We aim to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Farro is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
